Information Session - Review of Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching

Service and Creative Skills Australia (SaCSA) invites stakeholders from across the arts, training and education, and community sectors to participate in an online information session for the Review of Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching.

This session will provide an overview of the draft training products, including the updated qualification, revised units of competency, and new Implementation Guide. The review aims to ensure the qualification remains fit for purpose, industry-aligned, and supportive of safe, high-quality pathways for aspiring Assistant Dance Teachers.

The session is designed to:

• Share the proposed changes and rationale behind the draft training products

• Outline how the updates address stakeholder feedback and industry needs

• Provide guidance on how to review and provide input into the draft products

• Support collaboration between employers, training providers, unions and government in shaping a qualification that meets current and future workforce needs

Who should attend:

Dance educators, training providers, industry associations, employers, unions, regulators, and community stakeholders with an interest in workforce development and the future of dance teaching.
