Do you have contact with families with children 0-4 years who experience family and domestic violence?
In collaboration with the Department of Communities, Early Years Partnership Armadale West, invite you to a professional development workshop on:
Safe and Together
This one-day training provides participants with an introduction to, and overview of, the Safe & Together Model.
The training provides participants with information about creating a domestic violence-informed child welfare system, the principles and components of the Safe & Together Model and information about the framework behind competency-building in child welfare around domestic violence.
Objectives of the Overview Training are:
• To introduce participants to a perpetrator pattern framework.
• To introduce and understand the Safe & Together model principles and components and how those guide practice in various roles.
• To introduce how to use the Safe & Together model as a way to enhance good practice in various roles
• To share information about the range of activities and offerings from the Safe & Together Institute
When: Tuesday 18th March 2022 9:00am - 4:00pm (Please arrive early for 9.45 registration)
Where: Armadale District Hall cnr Jull and Church Ave Armadale.
Free registration and lunch and refreshments will be provided. If you have special dietary requirements please self-cater.
