Safe Church Training - Friday 6 October 2023

Following the Royal Commission's investigation into abuse within institutions such as the Church, the government has released a list of ten recommendations. In this session, you will learn about the framework of a safe church/organisation, the various forms of abuse against adults/children, and appropriate responses. The training will also cover mandatory reporting, cultivating safe leaders, recruiting processes, and implementing a code of conduct.
