SafeTALK - Suicide Prevention Training (Baringa Community Centre)
Event description
SafeTALK is a half-day training program that teaches participants to recognise and engage people who might be having thoughts of suicide and connect them to further help in the community. It uses the easy-to-followTALK steps - Tell, Ask, Listen and KeepSafe.
Anyone can have thoughts of suicide so, as a family member, friend and community member, you can make a difference to keeping other people safe.
We prefer for you to sign up! So if the fee of $25.00 is prohibitive please contact me directly as we have bursaries available.
This SafeTALK has been generously sponsored by Stockland Aura Community Grant.
