This November Konrad’s quintet returns to the Salamanca Jazz live music program, with a renewed focus on original arrangements from its members.

Notably, Al Dobson and Dan Sulzberger have both been writing within the jazz idiom for more than two decades. Dobson’s studies with American jazz great Dave Liebman helped distill his unique writing style, while Sulzberger has always written from behind the piano with an energy and exuberance reminiscent of McCoy Tyner and Herbie Hancock. Park offers the one jazz arrangement he’s been successful enough to achieve, writing a good jazz arrangement ain’t so easy!

The Konrad Park Quintet looks forward to sharing with you, an exciting evening of original jazz and some time honoured tracks from their set list, as they aim to push the jazz art form forward, one more time.
