    Event description

    A gathering to honour the Palestinian people of Gaza through the spiritual uplift of song, music and spoken word. 

    Vocalists, poets, musicians and creatives will serve a sensory feast to nourish and nurture our spirits on Sunday afternoon 17 December at 5pm at the Community Refugee Welcome Centre.

    A delicious Bilad al Sham dinner will follow the curated program.

    Dinner is lovingly brought to you by Carol and Sharon Salloum and volunteers from our shared communities.

    All proceeds from this event will go directly to families coming from Gaza to Australia. They are arriving on visitor visas which means they are not eligible for any income support or other government assistance. The funds raised will assist with living and medical expenses.

    If you are unable to attend but would like to support Gazan families arriving in Australia, you can make a donation by inserting an amount in the box where it says Additional donation Gazan refugees in Australia. This donation will go directly to assisting with living and medical expenses.
