Salon ~ Friday

We’re excited to introduce our new “Salon” series. These sessions celebrate the spontaneity of community by offering freeform time with access to our full collection of synths and drum machines, along with expert guidance. Here, we embrace your creativity, the beauty of happy accidents, and the magic of getting lost in sound while connecting with others and sharing our work. Feel free to sample the gear, and work on your own tracks (be sure to BYO- recording equipment). Whether you’re here to experiment with a synth, dive deeper into topics we’ve covered in class, or simply soak in the atmosphere, this is your time to shape as you wish—whether synths are new to you, familiar, or somewhere in between.

*Please bring your own wired, over-ear headphones. We will have a limited supply available. 

Accessibility: The venue is accessible via wheelchair, with accessible restrooms and seating. If you have any specific accessibility needs or questions, please contact us directly. All classes will be held in English, however Spanish translation will be available. 

Safety: Masks will be provided, and we strongly encourage you to wear one throughout the event as well as testing before you attend. If you feel unwell or have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay home. 

Directions: Once you arrive at the address, go all the way down and Crashbox is the last bay door to your left. Parking is limited.

Estamos emocionados de presentar nuestra nueva serie “Salón”. Estas sesiones celebran la espontaneidad, ya que ofreceremos tiempo libre con acceso a nuestra colección completa de sintetizadores y cajas de ritmos, junto con la orientación de expertos. Aquí fomentamos tu creatividad, la belleza de los accidentes y la magia de perderse en el sonido y compartir nuestro trabajo en comunidad. Tendrás la libertad de probar el equipo y trabajar en tus propios proyectos (asegúrate de traer tu propio equipo de grabación si te interesa samplear). Ya sea que estés aquí para experimentar con un sintetizador, profundizar en los temas que hemos cubierto en clase, o simplemente disfrutar del ambiente, este es tu tiempo para moldearlo como desees, ya sea que los sintetizadores sean nuevos para ti, familiares, o algo intermedio.
