Get ready for a day of mesmerising patterns, swirling colours, and creative exploration inspired by artist Kerrie Poliness! In this hands-on workshop, kids will dive into the world of geometric designs, experimenting with spirograph drawings and transforming them into dynamic 3D artworks.

Session 1: Spirograph Play & Thread Art (Ages 4-8)

Younger participants will start by creating intricate spirograph drawings using colourful pens and wheels. Then, they'll bring their patterns to life by weaving thread through pre-cut card shapes, turning their 2D designs into textured, layered masterpieces.

Session 2: Spirograph Sculptures (Ages 9-12)

Older kids will take spirograph art to the next level. After refining their drawing techniques, they’ll construct 3D spirograph sculptures using pins, cork boards, and colourful thread. This hands-on project blends art with problem-solving, as they wrap and weave thread to form intricate web-like patterns.

All participants must be accompanied by an adult.
