SAM Clay School: Back to the Wheel with Denielle Anderson
Event description
Join Kialla-based ceramicist Denielle Anderson in this throwing clay intensive for potters with a solid grip on the basics. Over two hours, you'll build on the fundamental skills and techniques of the pottery wheel to introduce new forms, shapes and styles to your repertoire.
What's included:
- 2 hours of class time
- All materials, including clay, tools and access to a pottery wheel
- Drying and firing services
What else you need to know:
- This workshop is intended for people aged 16+
- Bring a towel to protect your clothes from clay
- Wear clothes that can get dirty
- Leave your rings and jewellery at home to prevent damage
- Expect a 4-6 week wait for collection of your work
