Step into the world of tomorrow in this hands-on clay workshop inspired by the fascinating ceramic creatures of artist Jenny Orchard. Over an hour, kids and teens will let their creativity run wild as they imagine what animals and humans will look like millions of years from now. Using colourful paper clay, textiles, feathers, and other materials, participants will craft their own unique creatures – wild, whimsical, or downright weird!
Taken first to the gallery space, children will move to the workshop room to learn simple sculpting techniques, experiment with mixed media, and bring their futuristic visions to life. At the end of the session, every child will take home a one-of-a-kind creation to treasure.
Please note that all children aged 12 and under must be supervised by an adult during their visit.
All materials supplied.
