Celebrate the opening of Archibald Prize 2026 at SAM with a special opening day in-conversation event featuring artist Richard Lewer, six-time finalist and 2026 Archibald Prize winner, and Beatrice Gralton, Senior Curator of Contemporary Australian Art and Brett Whiteley Studios at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Join us to enjoy a fascinating insight into the artistic and curatorial sides of the celebrated annual prize, and discover Lewer's wider creative practice.
