SAM Winter Camp: It's a Little Big World Collagraph Printmaking

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Collagraphs are a simple type of printmaking, akin to a stamp. Inspired by new Children’s Gallery exhibition, Little Big, Big Little, this workshop aims to engage young artists and present a new way of thinking about art! Using line, shape, scale, texture, and form to design a scene for stamping and watch their little big world emerge on paper.

Where: Level 2, SAM

Who: 4- 10 year olds

Please note that all children aged younger than 12 must be supervised by an adult during their attendance.

Our programs are designed with specific age groups in mind and use materials, methods or techniques suitable for those specific age groups. It’s important that SAM is able to offer programs that create an accessible environment for learning and provide the same amount of support and assistance to all children in the program. If your child is older or younger than the indicated age group and attends a program, they may either find it too difficult or too easy and their experience will be negatively impacted. This also extends to things like tools and equipment being used, such as etching tools and other sharp objects.
