Event description

About Sam Wrangle
If you’ve ever been drinking on a veranda during a muggy Queensland afternoon in the midst of a cataclysmic break up, you’ve probably familiarised yourself with the sound of Sam Wrangle. He gives listeners the choice to either reflect on a pending existential crisis and life’s intricacies or to drink in a schooner of XXXX Gold soaked nostalgia. The singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist originally from the nation’s capital invites listeners into a sun-kissed introspective realm in his brand new project, where washing your car in your best flannelette shirt reviewing every single triumph, heartbreak and loss is a decent Saturday afternoon.
His eponymous album is out 17/11/23 on digitally and on compact disc (CD). Read about his latest single here: https://happymag.tv/sam-wrangl...
About Arthington Stack - words taken from Endless Recordings Press Release.
Introducing Arthington Stack, a 19 year old Wunderkind from Meanjin whose debut single is out today on Endless Recordings.
Taking his cues from Swell Maps, Death Grips, and John Maus, Arthrington played and recorded every instrument on his forthcoming debut album, which was then mixed with John Lee (Lost Animal, Laura Jean, Mod Con).
The grainy baroque Barrett-esque pop of “Morris End” dresses in rebellious low fi tones. Among snatches of 60’s Soho psychedelia, black metal, baroque pop and general outlier weirdly-ness, Stack has a freewheeling and thrilling method at play. A shift in time and place, an arcane moodiness with hints of underlying beauty and a writer with new things to say and new ways to say them.
