Sam McCool's Sunday Roast (23 Nov 2025)

On Sunday 23rd November... come join us for a scrumptious Sunday Roast dinner while the audience and other comedians get roasted. Led by internationally renowned comedian Sam McCool https://sammccool.com and fellow comedians.

This is the launch of a unique and original comedy spectacular that we hope will sweep the nation... starting at the infamous Bloody Mary's Gazebo in Potts Point (aka Kings Cross).

For those that have experienced Sam McCool's comedy stylings, you know that Sam is at his best when off-the-cuff, and off-the-leash. This isn't a show for "sensitive wall-flowers". It's a unique show for people who have a strong enough self-esteem and keen sense of humour, allowing us to laugh at each other and with each other for the ultimate mental health catharsis. 

The concept is simple: 

If you want to be roasted, or have your friends roasted, simply book tickets and let us know. You can then email us (in confidence) to provide some bullet points, funny, sad or unbelievable stories or any other material we can use to roast you/your friends.

If you prefer your comedy natural and 'in the moment', we will also have a live interactive roasting session, where you can call out, heckle, or sms on the night, but obviously prior notice yields better results. 

Bloody Mary's also serves up delicious beverages including cocktails like Espresso Martini's and Sunday Spritz's, and an Unlimited Wine Package for those without Monday morning work duties.

So come a little early for a non-obligatory PRE-DRINK (from 5pm), stay for DINNER (Sunday Roast or A La Carte, starting at 6pm)... and have fun in our INTERACTIVE COMEDY SHOW from 7pm onwards.

* The comedy show starts once everyone's finished eating, so please order by 6pm.

* Of course, if you're a non-meat eater... Gazebo can also serve up a Vegetarian Sunday Roast option or you can choose from the regular a la carte menu.
