Samuel Blaser Trio

Internationally acclaimed trombonist and bandleader brings his trio to Australia for the first time.

This one-night-only event gives our jazz loving creative community the chance to hear three of the world's most inspired improvisers in the stunning acoustics of the Paddington Uniting Church.

Samuel Blaser, (Swiss) trombone

Marc Ducret (Fr), guitar

Peter Brunn (Denmark), drums

The Samuel Blaser Trio has played together extensively in recent years, developing a kinetic language and an active sense of restrained interplay, with each capable of taking one of the other’s musical ideas and pressing it into action. The shape-shifting trio can march, tumble, groove, simmer or flare up, depending on the needs of the moment.
