Samuel's Charity Memory Walk
Description
💙 Samuel’s Charity Memory Walk
Join us on Saturday 23rd January for a very special 9K Memory Walk, bringing people together to remember, celebrate and honour those we have loved and lost.
The distance of 9 kilometres has a very special meaning to Samuel’s Charity. Samuel was just nine years old when he sadly passed away after being diagnosed with cancer. During his time in hospital, Samuel saw what other seriously ill children and their families were going through and wanted to do something to help. His kindness, compassion and determination became the inspiration behind Samuel’s Charity and the work we continue today.
Our Memory Walk is an opportunity to walk in Samuel’s memory, while also remembering someone special in your own life. Whether you are walking for a family member, friend or loved one, we invite you to dedicate your 9K to them and celebrate the memories you shared.
📍 The Walk
We will meet at Woburn Trails Car Park before setting off together on our 9K route around Bow Brickhill.
Every kilometre represents one year of Samuel’s life, making the distance particularly meaningful to us.

This isn't a race and there is no pressure to complete the walk quickly. It's about spending time together, sharing memories and taking a moment to remember and celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us.
Everyone is welcome to join us. 💙
By taking part, you'll also be supporting Samuel’s Charity and helping us continue Samuel's legacy by bringing fun, hope and relief to seriously and terminally ill children in hospital and at home.
Walk 9K. Remember someone special.
