Sapphoween

Welcome to the sapphic night of your dreams. Do you love cosy bookshop vibes, good wine, great company and a little bit of Halloween mischief? Then this is the event for you.

Sappho Social is a new social night for sapphics, lesbians, queer and FLINTA+ folks to enjoy a relaxed night out, meet some new pals, and generally get amongst the revelry.

For our first event, this October 25th we’re bringing you Sapphoween, a pared-back Halloween celebration at the gorgeous Sappho Books, Cafe & Bar in Glebe.

Named after the legendary poet and lover herself, Sappho Books has long held a special place in Sydney’s lesbian heart. So naturally, it felt like the perfect place to kick off a new regular night for the sapphic community.

As a bookshop, café and bar, Sappho’s has all the cosy vibes you need for a lovely night out. Grab a drink, settle in with your friends, browse the shelves and maybe make a few new ones along the way.

From 5-10pm the bar will be serving drinks and tapas, plus we’ll have a lolly bar for a little trick-or-treating, because obviously adults deserve Halloween treats too.

Costumes are encouraged but not required! Come comfortable, come with a good vibe, come ready for a laid back night of lesbianism and laughs.
