Sapwood Music Night: SAIJE // PHOTO OF THE MOON
Description
Sapwood is back with our first intimate bush stage gathering of 2026. We are so excited to announce Saije as our main act for the evening, supported by the incredible Newcastle local act: Photo of the Moon performing a solo set to warm our souls before dinner.
Sapwood is a community of like minded people who strive to support live original music in an intimate bush setting. We love to create a space where performers can really connect, to tell stories, to have our full attention as we dive deep into their musical gifts. We do not aim to generate profit, we are committed to supporting the arts and all ticket money goes to covering event costs, performers and your dinner.
Please see the line up section below to view our acts Bios and social media links.
As always:
Kids under 10 are free
Kids under 16 are a $5 donation
Your ticket includes camping + dinner + the full evening experience
If you have any questions at all, please reach out — we’re always happy to connect.
Run Sheet
From 3pm – Arrive, set up camp, explore the space
6pm – Photo of the Moon
7pm – Shared dinner
8pm (approx.) – Saije
After the main set, we’ll leave space for connection — gentle jams and conversations — before closing the space around midnight.
Sunday morning is slow and easy.
Wake gently. Have breakfast if you’ve brought it. Join a bush walk, a jam, or simply linger in the trees until you feel ready to head home.
What to Expect
When you arrive, we’ll guide you to camping (if you’re staying) or to parking if you’re coming just for the show.
Once settled, you’ll wander up our 200m bush track — a gentle slope leading you into our hidden gathering space among the trees.
What to Bring
• Chair, rug or mat (some seating provided)
• Your own beverages (chai and warm drinks supplied)
• Something warm / rain jacket just in case
• Torch for later in the evening
• Sunday breakfast if staying (breakfast not supplied)
We’re really looking forward to gathering again — sharing music, food and time together in the bush.
See you under the trees.
