As you may already know, during the early morning hours of Sunday, January 7, 2024, Sarah passed peacefully in her sleep. She was 87 years of age. Please join us as we share stories, dances, photos and film to honor and remember who she was and maybe get inspired by the way she lived and engaged the world and the people she interacted with.Â
We would also like to ask you to help us in collecting stories, video and photos of your time with Sarah. Sarah was a full person who took her work very seriously and worked hard. She also loved people and met them where they were.Â
Part one is we would like to put together a book of stories, and we hope you will contribute your writing! Who was Sarah to you? What was the context of your interaction? How did she inspire you? How did she change your life? How did she help you to be who you are? Did you laugh together? Cry? Did you see her perform? Were you a student in her class? Did she set work on you? Were you in rehearsal with her? How did she work? Is there a story that expresses your feelings about Sarah? All writings can be uploaded in this drive folder
Part two is, would you please share photos and film of her dancing and teaching and rehearsing or just being? Please share what you have in this drive folder.Â
THANK YOU!!!
