Both teams are undefeated and loaded with talent, but something will have to give when they face off this week for the state crown.

Meanwhile, Saraland opened its Class 6A bracket with a 54-7 thrashing of Eustis on Nov. 10 in the regional quarterfinals. The team then beat Dunnellon 35-0 in the regional semis on Nov. 17, before taking a 20-point finish over South Sumter in the regional finals.

This highly anticipated match will see Saraland High School and Clay-Chalkville High School face off on the field. Clay-Chalkville vs. Saraland: The 4M title game is a rematch of the thrilling 2018 Class 8A championship game, which Saraland won 37-35. These are two of the most talented teams in the state with several college recruits on both rosters -- that includes quarterbacks Tramell Jones (Saraland, Alabama State commit) and Alberto Mendoza (Clay-Chalkville, James Madison commit). Saraland arguably has one of the best secondaries in Alabama while Clay-Chalkville boasts an outstanding front seven.

Saraland and Clay-Chalkville met in a state semifinal in 2022, a game Saraland won 31-21 on its way to the Class 6A championship. Tigers wide receiver Jayvan Boggs had an outstanding game, catching nine passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns. Saraland is the only team in the past two years to score more than 21 points against the Tornadoes outstanding defense.

Saraland WR Jaime Ffrench: The five-star junior has 1,139 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Ffrench is committed to Alabama.
