Lorry Wedding-Marchioro: the material and the immaterial

We warmly invite you to join us for the opening of Lorry Wedding-Marchioro: the material and the immaterial on Thursday 15 October, 5:00pm - 7:00pm at SASA Gallery. RSVP recommended by Tuesday 6 October COB.

Lorry Wedding-Marchioro’s kinetic sculptures explore the relationship between matter, perception, space and time, drawing inspiration from quantum physics, philosophy and neuroscience. Embodying principles of indeterminacy, entanglement and the observer effect, the works invite viewers to experience uncertainty, transformation and the act of becoming. Light, shadow, reflection and movement become sculptural materials, extending the object beyond its fixed form into a dynamic, perceptual field. The work asks us to consider: what are the unseen forces that shape perception and experience?

Gallery hours: Wednesday – Saturday, 10:00am - 4:00pm
