Saskia Robin w/ Matthew Kennedy and Juliet Taylor

See Saskia Robin and her band live at Creature Bar, with support from Matthew Kennedy and Juliet Taylor.

Saskia Robin is a singer, guitarist and songwriter who takes most of her inspiration from her prized 90s CD collection. Her sound, earning comparisons to Hole, PJ Harvey and Big Thief, is a unique blend of gritty guitar, candidly raw vocals, and lyrics that hit a little too close to home.

Matthew Kennedy is an alternative folk artist hailed for his captivating melodies and intimate lyrics. Drawing inspiration from Sufjan Stevens, Pinegrove and Mitski, Matthew accumulates everyday experiences to analyse how they reveal something deeper about the human condition.

Juliet Taylor has written all her songs sitting on her bedroom floor and her music brings the intimacy and honesty of the moment, as if you were sitting right there with her as she wrote them. She will show up without a guitar strap, and only a handful of chords to play, but a true love for music will always shine through.
