SASS' 1978 Launch 2026

1978 is SASS’s creative journal celebrating diverse sexualities and genders on campus. Written, edited, and curated entirely by members of the USYD community who are women, non-binary, and/or members of the LGBTQIA+ community, it is a publication of words, art, memory, and meaning.

Named after the first illegal Mardi Gras in 1978, this journal stands as a testament to the histories that came before us, the voices of the present, and the stories yet to be written.
