Sauna Science + Master Training — San Francisco

Ever wonder how much water to put on the oven? What physiological changes does your body make when exposed to high temperatures? How long is too long in the sauna? 

 

We are proud to announce the first-ever American Sauna Science + Master Training, presented in partnership with the Deutsche Sauna Akademie and led by renowned sauna experts Dr. Karsten Gröning and Nate Daubert. For the first time, U.S. participants will have the opportunity to experience authentic, professional sauna science and master training.

Dr. Gröning, a leader in sauna education and wellness innovation from Germany, brings decades of expertise as the director of the Deutsche Sauna Akademie. His unique approach combines tradition, science, and creativity, empowering wellness and health professionals to elevate the sauna results and safety for their guests. This training will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and certification to bring world-class sauna experiences and knowledge to your clients and community.

We are offering two versions of the course:

1. A 2-day lecture series on Sauna Science that includes a ~400 page textbook 
2. A 4-day Sauna Science + Master Training includes textbook and Aufguss towel.

Participants must be at least 18 years old

Alchemy Springs is a haven, where meaningful connections are built through the timeless tradition of social sauna. 

The backyard Sauna Garden features a large 40 person event sauna with immersive sound and lighting.

Outdoors there are two cold plunges, outdoor showers, thermal benches, a fire pit and lounges

Indoors is a large classroom setup where we will be hosting the Sauna Science lectures on the first two days.
