Big Splash isn't just a pool - it's a vital community facility that matters to Canberrans. With over 3,000 people already signing the petition to save it, the message is clear: our community wants action on Big Splash.

Save Big Splash is hosting a community meeting on Thursday 19 February where you can hear from key decision-makers and have your say.

You'll hear from

• David Pocock ACT Senator

• Jo Clay Gininderra MLA

• Peter Cain Ginninderra MLA

• Dr Caroline Luke-Evered ACT Coalition of Aquatic Pool Users & Urban Swimmers 

• Lachlan Butler Belconnen Community Council

• Alena Sarri Aquatots (original Big Splash family)

• Amelia Tattam Save Big Splash community group

Event Information

• Public transport to Belconnen center nearby

• Free parking in Labor Club after 16:30. Enter via Edmondstone Place

• Club members and non-members must sign in at reception. Use Big Splash event code to speed up entry

• Under 18's must be accompanied to enter

• Event seating at tables of 10

• Meeting venue open from 17:30. Proceedings begin at 18:00

• You are welcome to arrive early and order a meal/drink before or during the meeting

• Tables will have a QR code to the club menu

• Sorry we couldn't do this on the Big Splash lawn!
