Save Rockinghams Little Penguins Fundraiser Concert

Hello Penguin lovers! Can you imagine Penguin Island with no penguins? We are holding a community music fundraising event to bring awareness and put some pressure on the government through people power to do a lot more to help save our unique colony of Little Penguins at Penguin Island. Their total demise within a few years is imminent unless drastic action is taken very soon. their numbers have dropped 80% since 2007, with only just over 300 at last count down from around 2000. Climate change and human interference are having a devastating effect, but all hope is not lost! 

    We have 7 local music acts volunteering their talents on the night at Safety Bay Yacht Club which has provided the venue free of charge.  3 bands, a duo, and 3 solo artists. Also , there will be a unique, awesome photo booth in a horse float! Generously provided by @photografloat , who will also provide some fun outdoor games. Gold coin donation for fotos that you email to yourself. And a delicious food truck as well. B.Y.O snacks and drinks are permitted. This will be a high vibe community gathering not to be missed! Limited tickets , so grab them while you can .

      All money raised will go to Hands Off Point Peron inc community group, led by Dawn Jecks, a tireless community advocate,  to be used for media promotion, promotional stationary, and other costs to help bring action to the cause. All financials will be transparent as per incorporated community group rules and legislation
