    Event description

Takayna is Australia’s largest temperate rainforest and the second largest temperate rainforest in the world.

One of Earth’s last great wild places, it deserves secure, permanent protection.

It is currently being illegally logged FOR WOODCHIPS and off shore mining companies are planning toxic tailings dams in the Tarkine.

We must protect and preserve this national treasure.

The Bob Brown Foundation is ultimately seeking complete World heritage protection for Takayna and to be able to return the sites of immense cultural significance to the rightful owners.

In a few weeks time, members of our community, Kate Hanson and Marcus Syvertsen, will be racing 25 km through the Tarkine, in an effort to raise money for the Bob Brown Foundation in his mammoth effort to save wild spaces.

Join us for a special night of music, films, conversation, chai and cake.

All ticket sales will go towards saving the Tarkine.

    Limited capacity, be quick.
