The theme of The Savoyard Singers performance this year is: “The Curtain is Up” symbolising – in spite of our present-day adversities, music will always find a way, with its popular songs of today and yesterday - presented with glitter and imagination, plus music written by the most famous musical comedy lyricists and composers, to help us to an escapism of happiness and wonderful musical memories.
The Savoyard Singers look forward to raising that Curtain for you on Sunday 24th October, at 2.00pm.
The programme for 2021 contains musical excerpts from Cabaret, Gigi, Porgy & Bess. Hamilton, The Greatest Showman, Ragtime, Anything Goes, plus a couple of well-known Opera Arias.
Our programme includes most musical preferences, bringing with it the excitement of being part of the famous presentations in Stanthorpe’s Musical Gallery.
