Event description
Join us for another SAW: Sawtooth Artist Workshop, Experimental, camera-less photography with Simone Darcy on Sunday the 7th of September, 2-4pm.
'After being shown a range of camera-less techniques demonstrated by Simone you will have the opportunity to create a unique artwork that reflects on your own body/skin, interior and exterior markings through intuitive play, using resists, organic materials and a range of art tools
Resulting work will come together to form a collaborative overlapping work within Sawtooth space at a later date TBC.
A few examples Simone has explored in her own work abstractly are -"Recently I had a mammogram for the first time which made me feel really vulnerable. I have a number of small scars on one hand from when I was a teen and rode a motor bike through a barbed wire fence in the middle of the night. I also have a failed tattoo on my arm!"
All equipment and materials will be supplied on the day.'
