Respectful language is not about memorising a perfect vocabulary. It is about understanding how words shape expectations, safety and belonging — and knowing how to listen, adapt and repair when preferences differ.

This live, interactive webinar is for neurodivergent professionals and anyone who wants a deeper, more useful understanding of neuroinclusion. You’ll leave with more confident, respectful language and a practical approach you can use at work, in education, in support settings and in everyday conversation.

WHAT YOU’LL EXPLORE

• The difference between person-first, identity-first and individual language preferences

• Phrases that can stigmatise, minimise or turn people into stereotypes

• How to ask, listen and repair without making the conversation about your discomfort

• Practical language for work, education, support and everyday conversation

• How to translate good intentions into respectful action without trying to “fix” people or reward conformity

WHO IT’S FOR

This webinar is for neurodivergent professionals who want practical insight into their own working lives, and for managers, HR and People teams, DEI and L&D professionals, educators, coaches, practitioners, colleagues and allies who want to make neuroinclusion more informed and useful.

No formal diagnosis or prior specialist knowledge is needed.
