SBW Hub: How Does Your Brand Reflect You?

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Your brand and your identity are living, breathing organisms!

Join us as we learn how sharing your authentic self through personal branding establishes connection and elevates your business - with Kate Nutt, Personal Branding Photographer 📷 mermaid 🧜🏼‍♀️ and mage 🧙🏼‍♀️

In conversation with our very own SBW Committee member and fellow creative, Prue Mitchell of PM3 Art & Design, Kate will be talking about the process of discovering and delivering the credible, authentic YOU. Together we will lean into the how of establishing the compelling relationship your clients crave (in those first crucial moments of viewing your website or socials) and delivering the very best of who you are every post, every frame, every time.

As Kate says, "All your audience needs is an access point. A gateway where they can feel an essence of who you are now so that they can align with your purpose and connect with your offering".

We will sneak under the covers with Kate and her unique abilities and processes to discover:

  • The art and psychology of personal branding
  • How she uncovers her client's unique brilliance
  • Keys to getting the 'hero shot'
  • The true value of your personal brand
  • The lens through which she sees the world

One of many satisfied customers encapsulates Kates work: “I would never have imagined I'd come away with my brand voice identified, distilled and blissfully comfortable, and a clarified, common-sense game plan to launch it into a living I could be proud of. I didn't know there was anybody who could deliver that PLUS a collection of superb images for my now super impressive online portfolio”.

Sound intriguing?  Please join us for an inspiring evening with like-minded women.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Kate Nutt - Personal Branding Photographer

Over 20 years and approximately 5,000 portrait subjects, Kate Nutt has pressed her natural fondness for people into service for her world-class photographic art, culminating in an uncanny ability to deliver you, and your organisation, to your audience in a way which is too attractive to refuse.

Her rare perceptiveness gives her a gift for identifying your natural genius, the value in you which the world desires - even when it's invisible to you. And then, the magic happens; she captures this in portrait form - photographic portraits of your talent, humour, passion, understanding and professionalism - clarified, exposed and irresistibly genuine. You'll see yourself and your colleagues from an outside perspective. And you'll be impressed with what you see.

Prue Mitchell - PM3 Art & Design

Prue Mitchell, pm3’s design boss, has 30 years of experience… so what? Experience is not everything in a creative realm like graphic design - what’s critical is creativity, imagination, intuition and a smoldering contempt for sameness. Prue has it all…in spades.

Prue cut her design teeth in advertising and design studios around Melbourne, where she dabbled in all manner of creative disciplines. Good typography became her thing. This stemmed from early beginnings in magazines, together with a gig redesigning Melbourne’s broadsheet newspaper, The Herald-Sun and later as a team member creating the artwork for every item of signage at Parliament House in Canberra - and we mean every item… from the inlaid brass letters in the forecourt granite, to those lovely little square glass signs outside the MP’s offices. Oh the joy of being paid to tell politicians where to go!

Who better to guide this conversation with the fabulous Kate Nutt!
