Event description

Sourdough Business Women Regional End of Year Gathering: join us as we celebrate SBW & reflect on a year of growth & challenge.

As women of the Northern Rivers, we celebrate you – in your bravery to do business this year and in your wisdom as a woman. We invite you to join us with other local female superstars for dinner at Frida’s Field.

We welcome special guests Aunty Delta Kay and Mandy Nolan and invite you to connect with members of SBW Regional Committees from Byron, Ballina, Tweed and Lismore. Take a moment to reflect with the Founders of SBW as we enjoy the extraordinary vocals of Empress Katia Demeester.

Be welcomed by the Founder of Frida’s Field, Jeanie Wylie as we enjoy a locally focussed menu designed by Chef Ally Waddell consisting of local sourdough ...

Under the guidance of the creative Jeanie, the team at Frida’s Field have prepared a special menu consisting of local sourdough, main + side, dessert and glass of wine. There will be an open bar available for purchasing additional drinks.

Aunty Delta Kay: As a proud Arakwal custodian, Delta is committed to working in genuine partnership with our local community to promote an awareness, understanding and mutual respect between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people.

Mandy Nolan: Mandy has created a successful business being Mandy Nolan. Mandy is a comedian, a teacher of comedy, author, artist, journalist and a social activist. Mandy is currently running for Greens pre-selection for the federal seat of Richmond. Mandy has presented at several SBW hub events and is a keen supporter of SBW's work in the region.

Andrea Soler: Multi award winning chanteuse Andrea Soler grew up in a bohemian family of Spanish and French descent. She is a free spirited troubadour with influences such as Joni Mitchell, Manu Chao and Edith Piaf, and a voice like ‘wild honey’, smooth, warm and earthy.

Andrea has received international acclaim for her captivating shows at festivals and concerts throughout ten countries in Europe and has performed at the renowned Woodford Folk Festival, The National Folk Festival, Blue Mountains Music Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Scotland), Mullum Music Festival and The Falls Festival to name a few.
