The Hamilton and Alexandra College is delighted to welcome members of the Australian String Quartet to the school for a special Side by Side mentor collaboration with our College string and choir students.

The Australian String Quartet (ASQ) is one of Australia’s most respected chamber ensembles, known nationally and internationally for its artistic excellence and commitment to music education. The College has developed a cherished relationship with the ASQ’s highly respected musicians, widely regarded as the most preeminent string quartet in the country. During their visit, ASQ musicians will work directly with our students, sharing professional insight, rehearsal techniques and performance experience.

Families, friends and members of the wider community are warmly invited to attend this special collaboration, a Side by Side performance in which students and professional musicians perform together, giving audiences a rare opportunity to witness mentorship and learning brought to life through live music.

Please note seating is limited. Registrations are required via the online portal to secure attendance. Seating allocation will be sent via email the morning of the performance, please arrive at 12 noon to allow for seating ahead of 12:15pm start time.
