WellingtonNZ, AngelHQ and Creative HQ have developed 'Scale-up Wellington' - a series of goals and initiatives to grow our technology sector in the next decade.

The night will feature WellingtonNZ's John Allen, our technology sector lead Rebekah Campbell and a special talk from Mahesh Muralidhar called 'How to build a unicorn.'

Mahesh Murlidhar has recently returned from Australia where he founded a startup which was acquired by Canva and he became the first Head of People.  He also built the 'people' capability at Airtasker which listed on the ASX in 2021.  Mahesh is currently the CEO of Phase One Ventures in Auckland and has developed his 'How to build a unicorn' presentation to help anyone working or investing in startups how to identify and grow a world changing company.
