Be a Scam Detective - FREE Event

Have fun and build your confidence in detecting and avoiding scams online.

Local digital literacy mentor, Abbie Allen, is back. This year she will show you the many ways you can easily detect online scams.

Bring your smartphone or notepad and have fun playing the “Be a Scam Detective” game with us to discover the many ways you can spot a scam.

Abbie will guide us through:

• detecting and avoiding scams online,

• where to report scams and

• which website to go to for safe tutorials and advice about being online.

FREE event for all - we especially welcome mature detectives (those over 50). Snacks, tea, coffee, seating and a very warm welcome provided.
