Event description

A brand-new local arts activity for the school holidays!

Take a look at New Brighton's new sculpture (He Toki Maitai by Jon Jeet) then make a pendant inspired by it.

This engaging hands-on activity for children and young people will be delivered by SCAPE Public Art's educator, Sarah Ackerley.

Limited places available. This workshop is suitable for all ages, but younger children may benefit from adult supervision (supervising adults do not need to book).

He Toki Maitai is located next to the Roy Stokes Community Hall, 146 Seaview Road, which is 600 metres from the library. Participants will walk there and back. We won't visit the sculpture if the weather is vile :)
