SCAPE Silver Urban Art Party
Event description
You’re invited to a SCAPE Public Art celebration like no other.
This March, SCAPE is turning 25 and the party is going to be popping. We’re joining forces with Canterbury Museum to hold our incredible silver anniversary party in the new SHIFT: Urban Art Takeover exhibition – a momentous occasion as both organisations move into a new era. This will truly be a once-in-a-lifetime event celebrating SCAPE’s journey over the past 25 years and the shift towards a bright new future.
This event will also be a farewell to our own Deborah McCormick, who has been at SCAPE’s helm as Executive Director since its inception.
We’re inviting all previous SCAPE season artists, patrons, sponsors, supporters, arts community friends and you to come along, raise a glass, reminisce and have a boogie with the SCAPE team and trustees. Whet your appetite at the bar, sustain your revelry with a selection of food trucks, and get your groove on with live music, DJs and street performances throughout the night.
This is your chance to see Canterbury Museum like you’ve never seen it before and never will again through SHIFT: Urban Art Takeover. Explore rooms and corners never before opened to the public and discover artwork from more than 50 urban artists, with the SCAPE celebrations giving your entire experience a glow-up.
There will never be another SCAPE party quite like this – don’t miss out on your chance to be part of it!
