SCBG Tournament and After party
Event description
MUST HAVE A TOURNAMENT SEAT TICKET TO ENTER TOURNAMENT
Sydney Central Board Games would like to invite one and all to a very special tournament and after party!
There will be prizes, giveaways, free drinks and of course board games to be played!
The day will consist of 2 parts; The Tournament & The After Party.
If you would like to enter the tournament, you will need to purchase the "Free" Tournament seat AND the $10 Tournament Day ticket or the $15 Both ticket. This is to secure the spot.
The Tournament: 12:00pm- 5:00pm $10
The Tournament will run 8 games (consisting of 32 participants), the winners from those 8 games (8 participants) will go on to play against each other in a semi final of 2 games and the winners and second place participants will verse each other in a final round (4 participants). There will be trophies & prizes for winners as well as giveaways during the event
If you would like to come and play games but not participate in the tournament, that is fine as well, the more the merrier!
- Preliminaries will consist of the following games – Parks, Splendor, Tokaido, 7 Wonders, Quacks, Azul, Carcassonne and Takenoko
- semi-final games will be Innovation and Potion Explosion
- Final will be Lost Ruins of Arnak
Participants will be expected to know the games they play before the day. The mod squad will be there to make sure everyone is playing fairly but it will be up to participants to know what they are doing.
The Afterparty: 5:00pm- 11:00pm $10
This is the party you have all been patiently waiting for! SCBG will be holding an all night party filled with board games and fun competitions. All participants will get 2 free drink vouchers for the bar on arrival and then fun will be had by all!
Entry to both events will be $15
The party will kick off downstairs, so come on and join us there. Make sure to bring your friends along and party hard! We look forward to playing a game with you there!
