Join us for Schnozz-Lit Cafe; a sensory celebration of literature.

A chance to listen, smell, taste and talk classic and contemporary texts. Together we'll explore scent memories and flavours of identity, place, beauty, danger and pleasure!

"Odors have a power of persuasion stronger than that of words, appearances, emotions, or will. The persuasive power of an odor cannot be fended off, it enters into us like breath into our lungs, it fills us up, imbues us totally. There is no remedy for it." (Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, Patrick Süskind).

Presented by Scented Storytelling and The Rose Read Bookshop.

Scented Storytelling is a fusion of olfactory art and evocative narratives. What began as a single workshop has blossomed into a collaborative multifaceted practice involving an international ensemble of storytellers, scent experts, designers and performers. Together, we craft bespoke olfactory experiences for audiences worldwide, from scented cinema events to live performance and engaging story workshops. Schnozz-Lit is our latest offering, encouraging connection, community and creativity through shared sensory experience.
