Learn to Pedal / Rookie Rider: Learning to ride a bicycle is a moment in someone’s life that will forever change them in a positive way. In this one-day camp, we welcome kids who are beginners: kids who have no experience pedaling, are riding a strider, using training wheels, or just starting to pedal on their own. The rider may have a hard time starting or may weave excessively while riding. Fear and hesitation may be noticeable -- this is normal. We use a variety of drills, courses, and adaptive techniques all based on your child's abilities. Our goal is for your child to have fun learning to ride and establish the fundamentals for a lifetime of riding with control and confidence.

Novice / Intermediate Rider: Our focus is on further developing the necessary skills kids need when riding. We continue a variety of drills and courses along with adaptive techniques that build excellent handling and control of the bicycle. Having situational awareness and control are the primary safety mechanisms to prevent accidents. The class will operate in a safe, enclosed parking lot as a learning environment, so children can practice a wide range of skills safely based on their individual abilities. This class is fun, and we see that in the progression of the children's mileage: some ride up to 20 miles during a one-day class! Riding and navigating around other riders on closed courses increases teamwork, control, handling, and awareness. These skills are needed to ride in the real world.

Scholarships: We offer scholarships for all of our programs. Click here for more information.
