School Holiday Albury Waste Management Centre Tour

Join Halve Waste for a free tour of the Albury Waste Management Centre these school holidays.

Have you ever wondered what happens to your waste when it leaves the kerb? Do you want to know more about how recycling works in the local Halve Waste area?

A Halve Waste education officer will take you on a 1.5 hour bus tour of the Albury Waste Management Centre to show how materials from local households and businesses are processed. This tour provides a behind-the-scenes look at the centres award winning waste management programs and explains the "why" it’s important to know what goes in your bins. After the site tour, participants are invited to join us for a recycling session to discover what we recycle, why we recycle and where our recycling goes.

Enclosed footwear is required for the Tour and bookings are essential. Pick up is from outside Lavington library at 10am and return to library will be at approximately 12pm.
