School Holiday Natural Horsemanship Clinics
Event description
Each school Holidays, Wattle Bank Farm runs a 5 hour immersion natural Horsemanship Experience which includes a delicious lunch. They take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am and 3pm. Children can be dropped off Ages 6+. No experience is required to participate. If younger than 6, we request that a parent participates with them. This clinic is also ideal if you are looking for a family experience - children, siblings and parents can participate together as a group. We cover horse psychology, rope work, learn how to catch your own horse in the paddock, ground work obstacles which include tyres, tunnels, see saws and trampoline with a horse. We also teach you about how to check their feet and Liberty work in essence is horse whispering. Grooming is also on offer to further connect with your horse. After lunch, we begin to ride bareback and bitless and complete with team games. If the participant is a repeat customer or if you are a regular rider, we can move you to the next level.
