Kids Pottery Workshop- Christmas Edition
Event description
Children's Pottery Workshop-
Christmas Edition
Make your own Christmas ornaments and pinch pot.
Ages 5-16!
Do you have creative little fingers at home that might like to try something new?
Imagine gifting handmade ceramics to the family this year!
LIMITED SPOTS!
In this workshop your children will spend 1.5 hours learning some basic techniques of playing and making with clay!
A fun, sensory experience for children that has added calming and therapeutic benefits.
We will spend the workshop learning how to use and mould clay and then have a go at making some simple bowls and Christmas ornaments.
The session will be capped in size to ensure each student can receive one on one support.
By the end of the workshop your child will have created at least 1-3 pieces (depending on what sizes they create). Your child will have an opportunity to decorate the pieces with underglaze paints. Pieces will then be taken away to be fired, and then finished with a clear glaze.
Finished pieces will be available for pick up approx. 4 weeks later after they have been fired. Pick up is from the venue. Please only book this class if you are able to collect the finished pieces afterwards. Pottery must be collected within 3 weeks of being fired.
All materials provided, but please bring along an apron if you have one and clothes that get can dirty!
Bookings are limited.
