Equip Your Child for Future Success:
Strategic School Holiday Career Incubators in the Eastern Suburb
Dear Parents,
Are you looking for school holiday programs that go beyond just passing the time?
Prepare your child for the future workforce through our strategic, hands-on Career & Capability Incubators.
Operating in strictly limited, highly personalised groups of maximum 6 students, your child will receive direct, one-on-one feedback to build critical workplace skills like project planning, budgeting, and creative problem-solving.
Choose from three specialised 3-5 hour tracks, tailored to your child's age and career interests:
1. The Future Architect & Interior Design Sprint: Students step into the shoes of an interior designer. They will plan a room redesign, manage a feasible budget, create a paper-based design portfolio, and develop a shopping list.
2. The Artpreneur & Marketing Lab: Ideal for budding artists! Students will draft an artwork, develop the "story" behind their creation, and learn the basics of marketing, pitching, and understanding what attracts buyers.
3. The Aeronautical Engineering Challenge: Utilizing STEM, students will design, build, and execute a paper rocket/flying object. They will explore weight distribution, environmental factors, and test their engineering against real-world constraints.
A. The Room Redesign: Reframe this as a "Future Architect & Interior Design Sprint." Frame it around spatial planning, client pitching, and \(CAD\) cost estimation.
B. The Art Exhibition: Reframe as an "Artpreneur & Creative Marketing Lab." Focus on target market research, the economics of art, and persuasive storytelling.
C. The Rocket Launch: Reframe as an "Aerospace & Aeronautical Engineering Challenge." Highlight physics, project management, and budget-to-materials planning.
2. Introduce Industry-Standard "Soft Skills"
Add a brief 30-minute module at the beginning or end of each session dedicated to workforce skills, such as how to read a basic project brief, how to handle "client" feedback, or how to write a simple digital portfolio (e.g., using Canva).
3. Provide Take-Home Deliverables
Parents love seeing tangible results. Ensure every student leaves with a physical or digital Portfolio Piece (a resume-booster)
The Edge: Every participant will leave with a tangible portfolio piece to showcase their skills, plus a Certificate of Completion. The creator of the most strategic or top-performing project in each cohort will win a $50 prize!
Spaces are strictly capped at 6 students per session to ensure tailored, individualised mentoring.๐ Click here to view dates, age-groups, and secure your child's spot:
