School Holiday Program - Stop Animation
Event description
Turn your kids' screen time into a creative learning experience!Â
Stop-animation is a fun way for kids to learn the basics of art, technology and storytelling.Â
Stop-motion is a film technique that takes many photos and turns them into a moving image. Building worlds with pipe cleaners and toy animals, kids learn how to create a story, take photos and use software to turn these photos into a short film to share with friends and family.Â
Working together in pairs, they learn to collaborate, and make new friends. But that's not all - stop motion has all sorts of benefits beyond just being a fun activity. It helps improve hand-eye coordination, encourages problem-solving skills, and boosts creativity and self-confidence.
