School Holiday Workshop: Clay Pictures

In response to the current Arts Project Australia x Benalla Art Gallery Exhibition by Brigid Hanrahan, The Enchanted Garden, participants will be guided to design and draw a narrative scene on paper.

Participants will explore composition, line, shape and colour. Using air-dry clay as a base, they will transfer their designs into clay drawings, experimenting with adding colour to white clay using paint.

We will discuss storytelling through pictures and how symbols and shapes can communicate meaning, whilst developing drawing skills.

Ages: 8+
Children under the age of 9 must have a carer present to assist
