School Holiday Workshop: Forest Collage

Wednesday 16 July, 11AM–12PM

Explore the colours and shapes within the large immersive paintings by Mary Tonkin during her exhibition Rambles in our Bennet Gallery space. Using painted papers, children will cut and arrange shapes of the forest before gluing them onto board. We will draw inspiration Mary’s rich oil paintings featuring the forest floor, the ferns, moss, bark, leaves and tree trunks.

Ages: 8–15 (Children under the age of 9 must have a carer present to assist)
