School Holiday Workshop - Magnificent Map Art
Event description
Kids School Holiday Workshop: Magnificent Map Art
Maps have been used for centuries as inspiration for art. In this workshop we will be creating some drip ink abstract maps along with a cut-out artwork using our town or an address of your choosing using craft knives and collaging with magazine images. If time allows we will also create our own map monsters!
All materials supplied in class - please be aware when booking your child in that there will be craft knife use in this workshop.
Students will need to bring snacks and water for breaks.
Students doing both workshops on the same day can stay until the end of the second workshop, which finishes at 3pm, provided they have their own lunch and drink bottle.
This workshop is subsidized thanks to funding and previous workshops, so you only pay $15 per person (with a booking fee of .75c). Magnificent!
Running Wednesday 2nd July 12:30-3pm , this workshop will take place in the Referees Room on Island Reserve (next to the Tigers Sports Club), parking off the end of Rangipare Street) .
