School Holiday Workshop: Rock Pool Clock (Code RNCLO)
Description
Kids School Holiday Workshop: Rock Pool Clock
Create a watery rock pool artwork that we will then turn into a clock!
Artists will learn how to utilize the wet on wet watercolour technique to create some watery scenes, collage some pieces and finally stick on a clock face and attach a clock mechanism to end up with a fully functional wall clock!
All materials supplied in class.
Students will need to bring snacks and water for breaks.
Students doing both workshops on the same day can stay until the end of the second workshop, which finishes at 3pm, provided they have their own lunch and drink bottle.
This workshop is subsidized thanks to Creative Communities Funding and previous workshops, so you only pay $15 per person (with a booking fee of .75c). Suitable for 5+ years. Please note there is a fiddly component when putting on the clock hands and clock face - so please keep that in mind when registering your child.
Running Wednesday 30th September 9:30-12pm , this workshop will take place in the Courthouse at Ōtorohanga Museum, 15 Kakamutu Road,
