SPRING SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS WEEK 1 & 2
Keep your little musicians busy these holidays with our array of exciting workshops, with something to suit everyone! We will be running 4 Music Theatre workshops to suit Junior and Intermediate students, Composition and Technology workshops for all those budding music composers, and a Guitar Set Up and maintenance workshop to learn how to care and maintain a healthy guitar.

| Week 1 Friday 4th Oct - 9am-12pm (3hr workshop) Guitar Set up & Maintenance Workshop  | During this workshop attendees will focus on the following points:

Week 2 Tues 8th & Wed 9th Oct - 9am-12pm (3hr Workshop) Junior Musical Theatre Workshop Tues - Wonka Wed - Little Mermaid   | If your child loves to sing, dance and act this workshop will have them doing all 3 in our music theatre workshops. Students will work on a song chosen by our amazing Music Theatre teacher Mikaela, learn choreography and acting to perform at the end of the workshop for parents to come in and see. This 3hr workshop is high energy and fast paced, to keep students moving and interested to learn the entire song and dance. Students are welcome to wear a favourite costume for their chosen musical theatre workshop, or comfortable clothes and shoes are acceptable. Students will need to bring a water bottle. Morning Tea will be provided by MJMS for each student. Only 10 Spots Available in each workshop!! | Cost $65 +GST per workshop (5-9yrs) |
Tues 8th & Wed 9th Oct - 1pm -5pm (1hr individual workshop, designated time on booking) Composition & Technology Workshop  | Are you studying a musical instrument and would love to learn to compose your own pieces? Now is your chance!! We are holding 1hr Composition workshops on Tues and Wed in the second week of the holidays to help you get all those amazing tunes out of your head and down on paper. If you don't have a song in mind, we will help you create one! Once you are happy with your song, you will be shown how to play your piece on a Midi Keyboard which will transport your piece into notation software ready to print and take home to play for your family and friends! ONLY 10 Spots available!! Upon booking you will be contacted to allocate you to a 1hr timeslot on either the Tues or the Wed between 1-5pm.  | $65 + GST per workshop (7+yrs, basic music reading and theory required to attend) |
Thurs 10th & Fri 11th Oct - 9am - 3:30pm (6.5hr workshop) Intermediate Musical Theatre Workshop Thurs - Wicked Fri - Mamma Mia   | If your Tween loves to sing, dance and act this workshop will have them doing all 3 in our music theatre workshops. Students will work on a song chosen by our amazing Music Theatre teacher Mikaela, learn choreography and acting to perform at the end of the workshop for parents to come in and see. This 6.5hr workshop is high energy and fast paced, to keep students moving and interested to learn the entire song and dance. Students are welcome to wear a themed costume for their chosen musical theatre workshop, or comfortable clothes and shoes are acceptable. Students will need to bring a water bottle and lunch. Morning Tea will be provided by MJMS for each student. Only 10 Spots available in each workshop!! | $120 + GST per workshop (10-16yrs) |
